I’m Allison Kokitka, an artist passionate about creating meaningful, nature-inspired murals that bring spaces to life. I’ve loved art since childhood, using creativity as a way to connect with people and bring joy into communities. My work is inspired by growth, connection, and using God’s gifts to create something that impacts others. The mural I'm most proud of so far is my Blu Basil mural. It's not finished yet but so far it's challenged me and has taught me new techniques. Overall this mural has shown me I'm capable of great things. Funny story to share is when I did my first outdoor mural, my dad wasn't able to go to Home Depot with me, so I used a flat roller head to paint on brick, and it took me several hours. I got the job done, but it was funny to find out I could have used a better suited roller for brick and got the job done much quicker. That's the thing I love about doing murals, is learning things along the way!
